Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is a confidential, one-on-one process with a trained therapist designed to support personal growth, emotional well-being, and symptom relief through tailored, evidence-based skills. Sessions typically last 45–60 minutes and occur weekly, beginning with an intake to set goals and adapt treatment to your needs . By fostering self-awareness and coping skills, it helps address issues like anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship challenges in a private, supportive setting.
Relationship Therapy
Relationship therapy utilizing the Gottman Method is an evidence-based form of partnered therapy grounded in decades of research.
Discernment Counseling
Discernment counseling is a short-term, structured form of intervention designed for couples facing uncertainty about the future of their relationship, particularly when one partner is considering separation or divorce while the other wishes to remain together. Developed by Dr. William Doherty, this approach specifically addresses "mixed-agenda" couples—situations where partners have differing levels of commitment to the relationship.
Consulting
This is NOT therapy, but rather recommendations for actionable steps to solve practical problems and improve performance by providing targeted solutions.
Gottman Relationship Assessment
All relationship intervention begins with assessment. This allows your clinician to understand your unique relationship and get to know you a bit as individuals. Assessment is used to create a roadmap for change. This assessment begins with 90-minutes of you together and then sessions individually. You will also be asked to fill out questionnaires online. Assessment ends with a feedback session with everyone back together again to discuss how therapy can help specific relationship challenges.
