This is NOT therapy, but rather recommendations for actionable steps to solve practical problems and improve performance by providing targeted solutions.

If you and your partner feel disconnected, stuck in negative cycles, or unsure how to rebuild intimacy, you’re not alone—and change is possible. With over 25 years of experience, I specialize in helping couples transform their relationships by replacing destructive patterns with healthy, meaningful interactions. My approach is direct, compassionate, and rooted in the science of what makes love last.

I am a Certified Gottman Method Therapist, trained directly under Drs. John and Julie Gottman. Their evidence-based approach to relationship therapy has shaped my work, allowing me to provide couples with practical tools to improve communication, deepen emotional and physical intimacy, and navigate conflict in a way that strengthens their bond.

Many of the couples I see are impacted by trauma and addiction. I became a Certified Sexual Addiction Recovery Therapist to assist those struggling with compulsive sexual behaviors and their partners. My certification as a Clinical Trauma Professional and advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) allow me to support clients in healing from past wounds that may be affecting their current relationships.

Some couples worry their relationship is beyond repair or question if they want to commit to couples therapy. For couples unsure whether to repair or part ways, I offer Discernment Counseling to help them gain clarity and confidence in their next steps.

Beyond working directly with couples, I am passionate about expanding access to effective relationship therapy. As an Advanced Clinical Trainer for the Gottman Institute, I train and consult with therapists nationwide, offering Level 1, 2, and 3 Gottman Method training to help clinicians support couples more effectively.

If you’re ready to create positive, lasting change in your relationship, I would be honored to help guide you toward a deeper, more fulfilling connection.

My first task in therapy is to earn your trust. Our therapeutic relationship will contain the basics of any good relationship: consent, transparency, respect, and probably some laughs. Earning trust also requires that you get some prompt progress toward your goals. I tend to find a balance with my clients: incorporating both short-term change (identifying here-and-now problems and agreeing on action steps) and long-term exploration that leads to lasting and deep change. By creating this frame, my goal is twofold: one, you build trust in yourself, your power to make change, and our process together. And two, we make space for you to show your full self - to explore your experience vulnerably, bravely, and without apology for what we find together.
